National Reunion Services Terms of Service
COVID-19 Specific Policies: For specific policies redarding COVID-19 and how they may affect your reunion, please Click Here or follow the link in the red bar at the top of your reunion information page. Within 2 weeks after the event, should you become ill with an infectious disease, you do hereby agree to self-report that illness to the event organizer National Reunion Services at 888-425-8664. National Reunion Services will maintain your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection and data privacy requirements but will also alert other attendees, vendors and staff from the event.
By registering for your reunion, you agree to the terms listed below as well as any specific terms (such as your reunion’s Refund Policy) that may be listed on your Reunion Information Page listed under our Upcoming Reunions link on our webpage and to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.
National Reunion Services has contracted in good faith with one or more Reunion Committee Members to plan your reunion. It is not our policy to plan reunions without an agreement for services in place. Should you have any questions about your Committee, please contact our offices and we will get you in touch with them.
Our basic refund policy reads, “Ticket and/or merchandise refund requests must be received in writing within 14 days of the original purchase date. All refunds are subject to a $25.00 per ticket or $5.00 per merchandise item processing fee. Refunds are not available within 30 days of the event and any purchases made within 30 days of the event (or after the event) are non-refundable.” While this is our basic policy, this may be modified to accommodate venue policies, committee requests or the specifics of your reunion. Please review the refund policy specific to your event.
Our basic ticket transfer policy reads, “Ticket transfers can be made up to 30 days prior to your reunion. Transfers are subject to a $25.00 per ticket transfer fee and all requests must be made in writing by the original ticket purchaser. No transfers will be made within 30 days of your reunion.” While this is our basic policy, this may be modified to accommodate venue policies, committee requests or the specifics of your reunion. Please review the refund policy specific to your event.
National Reunion Services, its parent company, your Reunion Committee, and any event sponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the event or any element thereof, for any reason, including availability of facilities and any force majeure event such as an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of any of the above. While unlikely, event location, dates and times, meals and other details are subject to change. In the event that your reunion is rescheduled for any reason, ticket transfer fees will be waived and will be allowed until 10 days prior to your reunion. Some services, such as DJ, photographer, decor, etc may have minimum attendance numbers and/or may be at the discretion of your committee.
National Reunion Services plans to have a photographer at your event. By participating in the event, you grant National Reunion Services, its parent company, your Reunion Committee, and the event sponsors permission to use your name, photographs, voice, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other events and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. It is understood that any and all photographs, voice, videotape, and likenesses taken are the property of NRS and may be distributed to classmates and that NRS may use said photos for promotional purposes.
You acknowledge that there are risks of personal injury, illness (to include possible infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, flu, SARS) and possible loss of life, and risks of damage to or loss of personal property, which may result from participating in this event. You voluntarily acknowledge, understand, and assume each and all of these risks, to include assumption of any costs and liabilities associated with any hospitalization and/or recuperative measures in the event of contracting any of these infection diseases and/or illnesses. As a condition of participation, you, on behalf of yourself and your successors, heirs and assigns, and anyone else claiming under you, hereby completely, irrevocably and unconditionally release and discharge National Reunion Services, its parent company, your Reunion Committee, and any other sponsors of the event, and their affiliated companies, vendors, advertising, promotion and public relation agencies, co-sponsoring companies and their affiliates and agencies, and all officers, directors, employees and agents of the aforesaid entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims and costs, including attorney’s fees, relating to, arising from or in connection with participation in the event. Where the foregoing Release may be limited by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, losses, damages, actions, and liability associated with your participation in the event. This Waiver and Release shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent possible under applicable law.
In the unlikely event legal action is taken by any party, all parties agree that all actions or proceedings arising in connection with this event and/or tickets sold for this event, the reunion and/or any other agreements between NRS, the Reunion Committee Chair and/or the Reunion Committee and/or event attendee shall be tried and litigated exclusively in the county of residence of the NRS office signing this agreement. Should your or any member of your class, including the Reunion Committee, decide to take legal action against NRS it is agreed that NRS liability shall be limited to the amount paid to NRS by the person or persons taking action.
Our Privacy Policy is extensive, has been given its own page and can be viewed here. It is not our policy to sell your information or to share it with anyone without your permission. During the registration process, you had the option to opt-out of your information being included in the class directory. By registering for your reunion, unless the opt-out was chosen, you have granted us permission to share your information with your classmates through the classmate directory. Should you wish to change this at any time, please contact our offices and we will gladly change your preference.
By purchasing a ticket for and/or attening a National Reunion Services event, you agree that you understand everything in this document and any other documents published and/or provided for your event and have had the opportunity to ask for clarification on any terms that are unclear – you may call our offices at 888-425-8664 with questions.
Should any part of this document be deemed unlawful and/or unenforceable, all remaining terms shall remain in effect.
